My story

From the time I was 16, photography has been my personal gift to the world around me. Wherever I am– across the USA, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand–my camera is in my hand breathing with me. Together we capture life and freeze it. I have two goals: first to glorify God through my life and art, and second, to make a friend. I want to get to know YOU! Be part of your family! Then, the natural expression of who you are and who you want to be is given voice in every glance, in every portrait.

For me, photography is like a treasure hunt for the perfect memory: The blush of a bride. Baby’s dimpled toes. A child’s giggles on a sunny day. That look of love on your face, my friend.

My favorite moments

When the sun bathes the world in her golden rays . . . glimmers of heaven-life on your face behind my lens. After the wedding when joy is high, everyone is hugging, and the children are playing hide and seek in the trees. When I make a new friend… someone to laugh with and celebrate life together. Welcome, Friend! I can’t wait to meet you.

What should I look for when I choose a photographer?

Let’s face it, you want to feel comfortable with the photographer you choose. You’re not just getting photos taken, you’re investing in us to capture a once in a lifetime moment. When you choose a photographer, you’re buying into the person and process as much as you are the finished product. So here are just a few things to keep in mind when choosing a photographer:

Passion and beautiful work: Quality images start with a passion for the art. Knowing how to capture a photo is only the beginning—composition, lighting and the science of the perfect shot all culminate into a beautiful photo that captures the memory of the moment just the way it was.

Sara Jane Photography shot our family portraits a few years ago and they remain our favorites! Sara uses creative poses and beautiful lighting to capture memories. My favorite picture from the whole session shows only our feet, 4 of us in boots and 1 in flip-flops. That picture perfectly captured each person's personality!
